St Catherine’s Catholic Primary School are involved in an Zambian exchange project. Recently two teachers from Zambia visited the school to see how we do things differently.

Two teachers from Zambia visited our school, when they arrived we received some amazing pieces of art from their school. They had a tour of the school as well as the local area and they spent a lot of time talking and showing different year groups interesting things.

They attended one of our school council meetings giving us different ideas on pacific topics. Our head teacher (Mrs. Rigby) and Y3 teacher (Miss Booth) will be traveling to Zambia so that they can find out more about a Zambian school.

Most classes have produced a piece of art or a gift for Mrs. Rigby and Miss Booth to carry with them for us.

We all hope that after their visit to Zambia, we will hear from all of them very soon.

It's a good idea because we learnt about how Zambian schools are different to ours, like pupils have to stay longer in primary school. We also learnt a new African dance.
