<title>Arriving with hope</title>
<link>http://www.burngreavemessenger.org/archives/2006/october-2006/october/arriving-with-hope/</link>
<description>Burngreave has always
provided a safe haven
for people migrating or
fleeing from other
countries. One of
Burngreave’s most
recently arrived
communities is the
Slovaks from Eastern
Europe, travelling here
for work now that
Slovakia is part of the
European Union. As
with other communities
before, their story is
one of hopes fulfilled
and difficulties still to
overcome.</description>
