Beginning on the 5th January 2008, the Messenger is running a FREE 8 week website administrator training course at the Vestry Hall. This is an opportunity to learn new skills and to become involved with the Burngreave Messenger.
Over the course of the 8 weeks, you will learn how to create pages on the Messenger website, add text, images and downloadable files, create links to other pages and websites and add events so that they get listed in the Messenger events calendar.
By week 5 of the course, you will be part of the team of volunteers adding the February issue to the website.
Support for local groups
If you are part of a local community group, we can set up a section for your group in our Community section of the website where you can add information about your group, where any new content you add will get listed in the Messenger website events listings and in the website members' email updates.
The course will run for 8 weeks, 10am – 12pm every Saturday morning, starting on Saturday 5th January 2008. Refreshments provided.

The course is open to all residents in the Burngreave New Deal area.
