Grace Love

Grace has lived in Burngreave for 10 years with her husband and three young children. After many years working in the health service as a nurse, she felt it was time to give herself a new challenge, the result: an honours degree (B Med Sci) from Sheffield University in Clinical Practice.

Grace has three children, aged 11, 9 and

a struggle to balance work and home life, with degree-level studies on top. “The dissertation was really hard,” she adds.

It was hard work over the years of study but Grace is now proud to say she’s got a degree. “It’s made me see things from a different viewpoint now. I’ve become more resourceful.”

After 20 years work in the NHS, Grace now feels there is more to life than just work and can face the future with a broader outlook on life.
