Burngreave Cemetery is situated on the corner of Melrose Rd and Burngreave St and is a large wooded site of 37 acres which has remained largely unchanged since 1860. The “Friends” group was formed in 2001 to care for the grounds and raise funds to restore the Chapels. We aim to assist you in finding friends and relatives interred here. One of our aims is to convert the right- hand Chapel into a space with rentable studios for Artists.
