Description & overview:
Detached youth work working with young people on the streets of Burngreave engaging them in positive activities, in partnership with a range of other providers and helping to co-ordinate the youth provision in the area.
Volunteering and accredited learning opportunities provided
Detached youth work!
When: Daily 5.00-8.00pm (Weekend session times can vary. Contact project for details. 52 week provision except Bank Holidays. Limited provision in the week after Christmas).
Where: Burngreave New Deal area. Contact project for more details.
Who for: 13-19 (can be 10 -24 if project workers are working with other agencies).
What: Positive activities, Diversionary activities, Raising aspiration through educational achievement, Addressing inequalities to access. Whilst working the 5 Every Child Matters agenda.
Cost: free.
