Earl Marshall's under 11s players were treated to a night of celebration after a hard fought season, with special guests on hand to present their trophies.
Premiership referee Uriah Rennie and professional footballer Billy Sharp presented each of the team with their prize, congratulating each player and posing for photos.
Local lad, Billy Sharp, brought a sparkle of inspiration to the evening. He was brought up in Pitsmoor, attending Byron Wood School, now at the age of 21 he's the star player at Scunthorpe United, with 32 goals to his name this season, and a Premiership team transfer on the cards.
But the real stars of the evening were the Earl Marshall team. Manager Garfield Walters awarded Calum Higginbottom player of the year, but the whole team who worked hard all year, improving their game and beating some of the top teams in their league.
