Thanks to Frances

Story by Jo Cairns
Frances Ireson has stood down from Pitsmoor Road Neighbourhood Watch after two years as the group’s co-ordinator. The new joint co-ordinators, Jo Cairns and Richard Westaway, would like to thank Frances on behalf of the local community for all of her hard work and commitment to making our neighbourhood a safer and more pleasant place to live and work.
Over the last two years the group has discussed car thefts in Shirecliffe, street sex workers, rubbish and fly-tipping on Pitsmoor Road, Nottingham, Rock and Verdon Streets and anti-social behaviour. Members of the group joined with Pye Bank School for a big litter pick in the summer and the group is regularly visited by members of the Neighbourhood Policing team.
The group welcomes new members and visitors and our next meeting is at 7.30pm, Tuesday 17th January at the Welcome Centre on Nottingham Street.
