The scene was set, the music loud, creepy and full of Halloween fear. Many children arrived dressed up as ghosts, with other costumes including skeletons, wolves and Dracula capes.
Everyone was excited. Sandwiches were prepared for the children by Glenda. I personally felt a warm happy feeling of community spirit with us all coming together for this fun packed festivity.
Fellow Messenger volunteer Laura enjoyed the party with her daughter Aisha, who was dressed up as a black cat. Traditional games including musical statues were played.
A big thank you to the Adventure Playground for providing the fancy dress costumes which added to everyone’s fun.
