Story and photo by Deborah Blencowe

On Monday 6th November, The Wildlife Trust did their usual monthly clean up of the Crabtree Ponds site in Norwood. A group of pupils from Fir Vale School were invited along to help with this together with their teacher Clare Woods.

I was involved with this project and I would like to say the pupils did a brilliant job. They were all committed and an absolute pleasure to work with. They litter picked around the area, including the local streets and footpaths, as well as the pond site itself. I would like to thank Fir Vale School for this
