Our latest community journalism course, which started on 31st May, was oversubscribed and we had to turn people away. The good news is that, if we have enough people interested, we’ve decided to run another course either over the summer or in September.
We may run this course on a Saturday so that people who work are able to attend.
Anyone who lives in Burngreave or has a strong connection with the area is welcome to participate. You must have good English and be able to attend all 4 sessions. On the course you will learn skills to help you contribute towards the Burngreave Messenger by gathering news stories and information, writing reports and articles, interviewing people and taking good quality photographs.
