The Paint Factory at 163 Rutland Road have agreed to rent their basement to Battle Axe Sheffield. If the application submitted to Sheffield City council is successful, Battle Axe Sheffield plan to open one of Sheffield’s first indoor urban axe throwing venues which is promises to be an exciting new addition to the area and to Sheffield as a whole.

The activity of axe throwing is like playing darts, but with axes. There would be a maximum of six throwing targets within the venue, two targets per lane catering for up to 36 clients in one session. Each session lasts one hour and thirty minutes and pronounces to be a great activity for team building and celebrations!

Battle Axe Sheffield hope that the impact of their business to the premises and to the area will have a beneficial effect all round, complementing the area. It hopes to become a focal point for people’s activities before heading off to the Kelham Island area to enjoy the vast array of entertainment, bars and restaurants on offer.

All staff will receive full training and a qualified first aider will be on site at all times.

Comments are welcome up to the 10th of August on the Sheffield City council Page.
