We may have a couple of places left on the next Community Journalism course to be held on three consecutive Tuesdays (10am -1pm) from November 27th.
All participants need to:
- be over 16 years old
- live or work in Burngreave (or have very strong connections to the area)
- have reasonable English (at least Entry 3 if you are studying ESOL)
- commit to attending all 3 sessions
The course includes: how to write good articles; how to take photographs to illustrate your articles; how to interview people; and how to use all these skills with the Burngreave Messenger. No experience necessary but you must be interested in becoming a volunteer reporter for the Messenger.
