Wensley TARA held their AGM on 7th December, with tenants hearing all about the work they have carried out over the last year, as well as discussing key issues around crime and housing.

The centrepiece of the meeting was the presentation of the findings of consultation around developing Wensley Park.

A total of 94 questionnaires were filled in, and the voting showed a preference for: a new toddler multi play unit; new equipment for older children; adding fencing around the younger children’s play equipment and removal of large area of tarmac (replaced by grass). Using stickers to vote, children voted for the seesaw and steel adventure trail above tarmac and fencing.

The TARA will look into funding for the additional equipment and plan to approach local Councillors for funding for bins.
