Last minute places: Writing stories for children workshop

There are still places available on our ‘Writing stories for children’ workshop, Friday 15th February from 10am till 1pm at Sorby House. Get in touch now if you’d like to attend.

The workshops will be led by Tunde Farrand, a local resident, Messenger volunteer, and published author, whose novel, Wolf Country, was published earlier this month.

The course is aimed at people with little or no experience of creative writing, and will show you the basics of how to write your own story, as well as giving you an opportunity to practise some writing and receive feedback.

Participants must be at least 18 years old and live or work in Burngreave (or have a strong relationship with the area).

To enrol, email or phone 0114 242 0564. Please leave a message if no-one answers, stating name, address, phone number.

Tunde will also be leading a Short Story (using Burngreave as a stimulus) Writing workshop on 23rd March, (10-1pm, Sorby House)
