Regeneration charity SOAR have opened up applications for grants of up to £1,500 from their ‘Let’s Build Health Grants’ scheme.
Closing date: Midnight Sunday 15th November 2020
Let’s Build Health Grants are available to help create opportunities and develop local activity that improves health and wellbeing across the four North East Sheffield People Keeping Well (PKW) Partnerships in Burngreave, Firth Park, Southey and Chapelgreen. Please note this grant is not solely for PPE or making a venue Covid secure e.g. floor stickers, visors.
- Increased awareness of and involvement in community activities
- Increased range and uptake of volunteering opportunities
- Increased participation and awareness of the benefits of green space and physical activity
- Improved understanding of ways to live a healthy life
Last year we funded a wide range of activities, including a singing group, an allotment group, tents for the Scouts, pitch hire for youth football, an oven bread for Abbeyfield Park, a cooking group, mens group, play & learn group & more!
