For people living with ME and fibromyalgia, the move to a digital social life has opened up new opportunities.
“Zoom sessions have been a complete game changer for me, the silver lining of the lockdowns!”
R.O., a member of the SMEFG.
At Sheffield ME and Fibromyalgia Group (SMEFG), we’ve found that moving our activities like socials, tai chi and mindfulness online has allowed us to reach more people, and we plan to keep these running post-lockdown.
Many of us found comfort in arts and crafts during lockdown. We would like to encourage arts in chronic illness, helped by our member Marie’s head-shaving fundraiser to raise money for online arts workshops
