On 3rd July Ellesmere Children’s Centre threw open its doors, celebrating 25 years’ service to our community. Offering great home cooked food and cake, DJs, sound workshops, raffles, arts and creative play, this was the opportunity for families to look around and for returning students to come back to meet old friends.
The centre was founded by Dr Sharon Curtis. She used her academic knowledge, understanding and experience to create an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ Award Winning pre-school education service for local families. Diversity, Equality and Multiculturalism are at the heart of the pre-schoolers education, delivered by a multi-lingual staff team that reflects the make-up of our community.
Uniquely the centre hosts EMOSI providing therapeutic and supportive services for children, young people and families affected by anxiety, social and emotional difficulties and/or language delay.
Ellesmere is a charitable not for profit organisation catering for children from 6 months to 5 years offering summer playcare for children up to the age of 8.
