Following the success of last year’s Scarecrow Festival in 2020, it plans to return again for another year and needs you to help make it happen. The organisers need at least twelve people to sign up. If you’d like to create a scarecrow and put your creation on display, just complete the form at www.tinyurl.com/PitsSFSignup
Pitsmoor’s Scarecrow Festival is hoping to take place Sunday 24th October- Sunday 31st October with scarecrows put on display across the Pitsmoor area with a prize for the most popular scarecrow.
Posting on Facebook on 3rd October, organiser Danielle Fortier said:
“We only have nine scarecrows signed up at the moment. Unless we have at least twelve, it won’t really be worth running the event. The lovely Patrick Amber has said that people are very welcome to create scarecrows at the Crafty Creatures sessions he and Martin Currie are running at Abbeyfield House on Sunday afternoons 1-6pm during October.”
