Play-Doh pterosaur.

If you’re thinking our Messenger pigeon logo this issue looks more like a pterosaur, then you’re not wrong. Made out of Play-Doh, it was created by Martin Currie at one of the sculpture workshops hosted by Emilie Taylor and Jason Thomson at Abbeyfield Park House (see the article Local artists plan sculpture for Abbeyfield).

Can we make the claim that pterodactyls were the pigeons of the prehistoric age? Yes, we think we can, and it’s what we’re going with. Just please don’t ask a palaeontologist…
