What was your experience of living through the COVID pandemic?

Share your stories of living through the COVID pandemic

Would you like to write about your experience of living through the COVID pandemic and say what impact it had on your life and how you coped?

Project Intake and the Sheffield Memorial Project are asking for people to write a story or poem about their life through COVID and to collect them to put in the Sheffield archives. Drawings and photos are also welcome.

Did you work from home, how isolated were you, did you have contact with your family, how did you feel after lockdown? The stories, poems, drawings or photos will be put in albums and be on display at the Town Hall and then put into Sheffield archives for our future generations to see how we managed during the pandemic.

Sue Groves from Project Intake says:

“We would love for everyone to have their thoughts and experiences, ups and downs. Any input will be welcomed.”

It can be either something hand written or typed. Put your name, age and the area you live at the top of each page and at the bottom of the last page – for example John Smith age 61 from S12.

Deadline: Project Intake would like to receive your stories preferably by 28th February.

If you have any questions you can send an email to projectintake12@gmail.com

Send hand written copies to:
