Festival of Debate in conjunction with Burngreave Clean Air Campaign will host a public discussion on illegal levels of dangerous Air Pollution in Burngreave and Fir Vale on Wednesday 18th May 5.00- 7.00pm at Fir Vale Hub, 127 Page Hall Road, Sheffield S4 8GU. They hope to explore why air pollution is an urgent issue for this area and how we might tackle it together.
Everyone very welcome.
Burngreave Clean Air Campaign do monthly monitoring and Burngreave, Pitsmoor and Page Hall the have some of the highest levels of air pollution in Sheffield. The group say:
“As local residents, we do have some suggestions as to what we can do to improve it. But we need a discussion and wider support from our community to take this further.”
There will be a panel opening up the discussion and time for everyone to talk in smaller groups.
