Sheffield Community Yoga currently offers pay-as-you-feel classes every Wednesday in Pitsmoor.
Don’t be intimidated by yoga. Yoga is for ALL! We want to attract as diverse a group of people as possible – young, old, black, white, rich, poor, fit, unfit, fragile, agile, big, small, men, women, LGBT, and everything between.
Through yoga we can celebrate the diversity of Sheffield by SHARING a space in which to breath and move together, with our own uniquely beautiful bodies. We can practise non-judgment and acceptance of ourselves and each other, nurturing our understanding of our inner selves, which in turn affects how we communicate with each other, and leads to BETTER HEALTH and better day-to-day functioning in a fast-paced world.
Yoga isn’t for everyone. But give it a go and see if it works for you. Approach it with no expectations. Simply turn up, borrow a mat, take your socks off and dedicate one hour to YOU. Get out of your comfort zone and do something that scares you – see what happens. It might change your life
