The friends of Burngreave Cemetery meet every Sunday between 11am and 3.00 pm to help visitors locate particular graves. There is a permanent display of information and photographs about the history of the cemetery and some of those interred there. Also installations by the artist in residence – Victoria Smith.

Are you interested in producing a podcast for the Burngreave Messenger website or your own community group or organisation?

Don’t miss this unique opportunity for Burngreave residents and organisations to receive free training from an award-winning BBC media producer.

Audio podcasts are a powerful tool to raise awareness, campaign, educate, publicise and entertain. If you would like to learn how to plan and produce your very own podcast come along to this workshop. No experience required!

The will be 10am–3pm, Tuesday 26th February at Vestry Hall.

  • Learn how to tell a story in a podcast
  • Learn how to plan and create a podcast that makes a real impact on your listeners

The trainer is Angela Robson, an experienced, award-winning BBC media producer and lecturer in broadcast journalism.

(Podcast: a digital audio file of speech, music, broadcast material etc made available on the Internet for downloading to a computer, phone or other device)

Breaking Through Your Limits is the North of England’s BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) International Women’s Day empowerment conference, taking place on Saturday 9th March 2019 in Sheffield. With a line up of fabulous speakers, this conference will leave you inspired to take action and transform your career, business and life.
