Burngreave had a Youth Network for many years before service cuts in youth work meant the network was no longer viable. With the commencement of the Messenger’s new funding in 2016 we have decided to see if something can’t be done to bring it back with the help of our Chair of Trustees (who is conveniently also Finance and Funding Officer at Pitsmoor Adventure Playground) Fran Belbin.
The network has a mailing list you can join if you are from a local youth organisation and has had some meetings, although it is still in its infancy. We are keen to hear from new people and young people themselves about what shape they’d like the network to take and how they would like it to move forward.
